Hello! I'm Soumya SUBBIREDDY
My journey has flowed through many roles — yoga teacher, software engineer, front-end developer, and now, designer. For the past 8 years, I’ve run a small yoga business where I’ve taught thousands of people, collaborated with non-profits, and built a community grounded in presence and purpose.
Before that, I was in the world of code, designing websites, writing clean front-end, and problem-solving as a software engineer. This fusion of the inner world of stillness and the outer world of interaction design is what led me to UX — a space where intuition meets logic, and empathy meets systems.
Design, to me, is just another form of care — a way to build things that are thoughtful, inclusive, and quietly impactful.
Oh, and that name?
I go by SUBBIREDDY (or Subbi, if you're feeling familiar). It's my father’s name — a name passed down to a daughter in a sea of Soumyas. It stuck, and it shaped me.
It’s strong, rooted, and uniquely mine.
