I’m Soumya, a Product Designer driven by a simple belief: The most powerful solutions are born where deep empathy meets rigorous logic.
My journey into UX wasn’t just about learning tools; it was about refining a lifelong curiosity for how people navigate the world. Whether I am streamlining a complex enterprise workflow or designing for a local community, my goal is to create "invisible" technology—experiences so intuitive that the interface disappears, leaving only the value.
How My Background Shapes My Design
I don’t just bring design skills to the table; I bring a diverse set of life experiences that allow me to "Dive Deep" and "Think Big."
- Multifaceted Perspective: My background in software-engineering, running a small business and teaching taught me how to synthesize information from different sources. In UX, this translates to my ability to balance stakeholder requirements with user needs without losing sight of the business goal.
- Adaptability & Resilience: I have been changing cities/countries for every 2-3 years for the past 16 years. This taught me to thrive in ambiguity—a trait that is essential when navigating the fast-paced, high-velocity environments of modern tech.
- Customer Obsession as a Lifestyle: My passion for teaching yoga and community volunteering has trained me to observe the small details that others miss. I don’t just look at a screen; I look at the human story behind the data point.
